MSC, Mediterranean Shipping Company, was founded in 1970 with a fleet composed of three cargo ships bought buy Gianluigi Aponte, a mariner, former bank cashier, who decided to buy his first ship. He made his way in the world of shipping until he became a world leader with a fleet with more than.
