Thunder Bay is located in Northwestern Ontario, on the northwestern shore of Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes and it is known for its stunning natural landscapes, including the Sleeping Giant, a prominent landmark resembling a sleeping giant when viewed from the city.
