Koper
Koper (in Slovenian Koper, in Croatian Kopar, in German Gafers) is a city in Slovenia with 24,864 inhabitants, the capital of the Municipality of Koper (53,322 inhabitants) and the country's main port; it overlooks the Adriatic Sea. Among the main places of interest in Koper are the Praetorian Palace from the 15th century, in Venetian Gothic style, the Carmine Rotunda church from the 12th century, and the cathedral of San Nazario with its bell tower (55 m) from the 14th century. Koper is a bishopric with the Diocese of Koper, a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Ljubljana.

Pirano
Pirano or Piran of Istria (in Slovenian Piran, in Venetian Piràn) is a municipality of 17,882 inhabitants in southwestern Slovenia, on the Adriatic coast. It is a small Slovenian town with specific characteristics, and whose urban heritage is the best preserved in the entire region. The characteristic of this peninsula is known throughout the world. Up close, you can admire the typical architecture that reveals a strong Venetian influence, which is also found in other cities on the Slovenian coast. The city has preserved its medieval village: narrow streets, many squares and churches, all within walking distance from the sea. Tartini Square, located in the center, takes its name from the famous violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini. His statue is in the central point of the square. Piran is surrounded by a circular wall that allows Piran to be a member of the European Circle of Cities with outer walls. Open-air exhibitions take place throughout the year in different locations involving illustrious men. The church of San Giorgio, patron saint of the city, built on a hill, has a splendid view of Piran and the surrounding area which extends to the Croatian and Italian coasts. The structures (hotels, hostels, guesthouses), cultural visits (churches, art galleries, museums, aquarium) make Piran an unforgettable place.
Opatija
The Abbazia riviera is located in the Gulf of Quarnero, on the eastern coast of the Istrian peninsula. It extends for 25 km along the coastal strip from Volosko to Moscenicka Draga, under Mount Ucka.
We still see traces of the past on the facades of the houses when people were able to protect their city from attacks and pirate invasions. The city was rebuilt in the 19th century to protect the city and make it more beautiful as close to the coast as possible.
It is in this spirit of reconquest of the city that tourism began to become an activity of the city. The first luxury villa built, called 'Angiolina' was that of Hignio Scarpa, a great doctor of the time. The villa was an example for the other houses built in the same architectural line.
The San Jakov Park is a prestigious place in the city. It is located in the center of a monastery, where a fantastic church built inside resides. The Benedictine community first occupied this place in 1439. You will be impressed by the 3.64 hectare park and 160 species of plants that make up its horticultural heritage.
Opatija offers visitors a wide range of restaurants that offer recipes from the 19th century. It is an originality which demonstrates that tourism should always maintain the mix of past and present. Food specialties revolve around fish and crab. The Villa Ariston restaurant is best known for its traditional fish.

Pula
The richness of its Roman architecture makes Pula (ancient Peninsula) a prominent destination among the largest Croatian cities.
The star of the show is the extraordinarily well-preserved Roman amphitheater, a jewel in the heart of the city, which dominates the panorama and represents a picturesque venue for summer concerts and festivals. Historic attractions aside, Pula is a commercial city by the sea that has managed to maintain a friendly mood. Just a short bus ride separates you from a series of beaches; the coast is scattered with fragrant pine forests, cafes, and a choice of fantastic restaurants.

Ravenna
Ravenna is located on a plain near the confluence of the Ronco and Montone rivers, 10 km inland from the Adriatic Sea, with which it is connected by a canal.
Ravenna was important in history as the capital of the Western Roman Empire in the 6th century AD.
Nothing remains of the ancient Roman structures of Ravenna or its port of Classis.
The fame of Ravenna is instead based on the quality and quantity of its Christian monuments from the 6th-XVIII century.
Capital of the Western Roman Empire for 250 years and an important port of entry for the Eastern (Byzantine) Empire,
Ravenna reflects in its art and architecture a fusion of Roman architectural forms with Byzantine mosaics and other decorations.
