Surrounded by pine forests and fauna, crystal clear waters and an environment rich in natural places, archaeological sites and a delicious local cuisine, these will be just some of the reasons to visit this magnificent land. Its historic center is well preserved, including houses dating back to the 13th century, surrounded by medieval walls, with the remains of a Roman city. Just outside the medieval walls, in front of the Church of San Jaume, we arrive at the ancient city of Pollentia, whose remains can be observed near the walls of Alcudia. Further north-west there are some bays and beaches ideal for sunbathing, swimming or snorkeling. The beach of Alcúdia is 14 km long and extends to Can Picafort. For people interested in ornithology, this region offers La Albufera, a natural park created in 1988 and where, throughout the year, more than two hundred species of birds can be seen. The city of Alcudia has a thriving market, located in the historic center, within the walls. All kinds of local products are available such as leather goods, linen and various souvenirs.
Enjoy everything, from live music, karaoke, games and quizzes in bars and pubs, all geared towards fun and families.
