Nantes
Nantes is a French city located in the Pays de la Loire region and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. It is also called the "Venice of the West" because of the canals that crossed it, most of which were filled in during the 1900s.
Its origins date back to the Celtic populations of the Breton peninsula, who settled in this area. The population density increased, making this area proliferate with different populations. During the Middle Ages the city became important thanks to the river mercantile trade and in the '700s it grew thanks to the slave trade.
Today the city is vital and energetic, full of young people, students, and a growing economy, a city that looks to the future. Nantes offers its tourists many attractions, both cultural and leisure. There are no shortage of beaches as far as the eye can see: 133 kilometers of coastline border it and make it the ideal destination for holidays by the sea. Even the nightlife is very active and lively. There are many students who populate this city and who love to stay out late in the evening and who fill the bars and restaurants in the city.
From an architectural point of view, you cannot miss the Cathedral of the city, built between the 15th and 19th centuries in full Gothic style and is a true masterpiece, both inside and out.
Visit the Ile Feydeau district, the Beverly Hills of Nantes. In the '700s, the rich merchants of the time built their homes in one of the best areas for climate and location, an islet on a tributary of the Loire. The white houses are a real spectacle!

Quiberon
Quiberon (in Breton Kiberen) is a French commune of 5,175 inhabitants located in the southern part of the Quiberon peninsula, in the Morbihan department in the Brittany region.
