Cruise from Pantelleria

Pantelleria (Pantiḍḍṛaría in Sicilian) is an Italian municipality with 7,770 inhabitants in the province of Trapani in Sicily. The municipality covers the entire island of Pantelleria which is located 110 km south-west of Sicily and 70 east north-east of Tunisia, the coast of which, like that of Sicily, is sometimes visible to the naked eye.[5] Its territory is of volcanic origin. The last eruption occurred in 1891, on the north-western slope, in the submerged part. There are still many secondary volcanism phenomena, mainly hot water and steam vents. The island reaches an altitude of 836 m above sea level with the Montagna Grande. The island's port allows regular connections with the ports of Trapani and Mazara del Vallo. Pantelleria has an airport and is connected to mainland Italy by scheduled flights.
