Costa, a guarantee as always.
This was my second cruise, after MSC Fantasia 16 years ago. I had a very good experience on Costa Smeralda.
We went with Costa again… everything was excellent.
Reliable and helpful.

Compared to other cruise lines: limited buffet opening hours, less control over prohibitions and other rules.
Excellent cruise, although there is certainly some room for improvement.
The staff were attentive and well prepared. The entertainment was not adequate: there were several hours without an orchestra or DJ, and when they were present, they played the same four backing tracks over and over again.
A high-quality cruise line that has recently been affected by the need to make significant cost cuts, especially in terms of staff. In the buffet areas, the lack of personnel was evident.
The staff were polite and competent. In particular, I would like to mention the waiter Mustac Walter from India.
I have taken 7 or 8 Costa cruises, but this will be my last one. Little by little, one cruise after another, I have noticed a steady decline, and it is no longer worth it when competitors, at the same price, offer much more: more beautiful ships, better service, and higher standards of cleanliness. The only thing that still stands out is the entertainment.
A beautiful cruise, except that there is no fridge in the cabins and we had to get water from the bar to take it to the room.
Excellent cruise line. We had a wonderful time, relaxed a great deal, and also enjoyed plenty of entertainment and lots — perhaps too much — food.
